Dog Photography Sessions in Sydney
Capturing you, as you are. Finding the beauty in the every day.

The dog photography sessions with me are relaxed, natural and fun.
My main focus is capturing you as you are. I want my clients to try and let go of any expectations of perfection. I let dogs and kids lead the session.
For outdoor dog photography sessions we will explore, we will climb and move. I love when adults become child-like and join in on the adventure with their kids or dogs. Being present and enjoying the cuddles, swinging them in the air and smelling their hair or fur. Enjoying soaking up every moment.

Session Types
Choose the setting that feels most like you.
Every dog is different. Every bond is different. That’s why your photography session should reflect the rhythm of your life, not force you into a stiff backdrop or studio pose.
Whether you feel most at home in the heart of the city, by the ocean, or curled up on the couch, each session is built around your story. Because the best photography happens when you and your dog are both relaxed, connected, and doing what you love.
Urban Sessions
vibrant, fun & a little bit wild - Dog Photography
Urban dog photography sessions are perfect if your bond is full of energy, play, and personality. Think graffiti walls, people watching at your favourite café, and curbside cuddles. Whether you’re an inner west regular or love the feel of street-style storytelling, these sessions celebrate movement, texture, and all the little moments in between.
We’ll walk, explore, laugh, and pause wherever the light hits just right. These sessions are relaxed, creative, and full of character—just like your pup.

Coastal Sessions
Open sky, salty air, sandy paws - Dog Photography
Coastal dog photography sessions are for the beach dogs, the barefoot wanderers, the water lovers. If you and your dog feel most at home by the ocean, these shoots are calm, beautiful, and soaked in golden light.
Whether it’s a quiet sunrise at the shore or a playful splash in the waves, we’ll focus on freedom, movement, and connection. Think: wind in your hair, a sandy nose, a beautiful sunset, and memories that feel like summer.
At Home Sessions
Comfy, slow & full of heart - Dog Photography
Your home is where your dog is most themselves. These dog photography sessions are cosy, calm, and intimate – perfect for snuggly pups, senior dogs, new puppies, or anyone who feels safest in their own space.
We’ll capture the real rhythms of your life together: naps on the couch, treats in the kitchen, and all the little moments that matter most. No pressure, no poses. Just you and your dog, as you are.

Frequently asked questions
Generally around 1 hour to 1.5 hours. For more tips on How to Prepare for Your Session, read the full blog!
Most of my dog photography sessions are an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset. These sessions are usually at the beach or the park. If you wanted an in-home session, it would be around midday.
Weather can change really quickly, there could be light rain on the way to your session and then the sun comes out and it ends up being perfect. I actually love a bit of wind, as it creates beautiful movement in your hair and clothing. Overcast light can create gorgeous moody images and I prefer it over the midday sun. I will normally wait until the day before or the morning of the session to make the call about rescheduling.
That’s totally fine. We can do an in-home dog photography session so your furbaby feels safe and comfortable. Another option is going to a dog friendly studio for an extra fee. Your dog needs to feel safe and happy to connect with you so I can take the images you’ll cherish forever. I am dog obsessed and volunteered at a shelter for 5 years, so I have a lot of experience with different breeds and behaviours. Don’t worry, you are in good hands. One client was so surprised that her dog didn’t react fearfully with me when we first met and said that friends usually have to visit her house three times before he becomes that comfortable. I was even lucky enough to have a goodbye cuddle and kiss from him!
I live in Sydney’s Inner West and will travel up to 50kms for a dog photography session before a travel fee is added. I actually love shooting in the Northern Beaches, in the Sutherland Shire and the Eastern suburbs.
Around three weeks after your dog photography session.
My sessions are intimate and about connecting. So the session is tranquil, you can have up to two adults and two dogs. A Furfamily session can have up to two children. For an extended family or more than two dogs there is an additional fee.
It’s a good idea to bring water for everyone and if we are at the beach, a towel and a spare change of clothes. Also some snacks for the children after all that running around and don’t forget your adventurous spirit!
We can reschedule the dog photography session for another date within the next 2 months.
